Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, at any time before the expiry of 14 days from the date you receive the goods. You then have a further 14 days within which to return the goods. If you fail to return the goods within these 14 days then we can arrange collection at your expense.

Any exceptions to this?

Yes. Please note that for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of certain items such as hair brushes, scissors, combs, blades, and manicure/pedicure tools.

How do I go about arranging a return?

Make contact with us at sales@dermotdeegan.ie, advising us of your intention to make a return. At this stage please provide us with the relevant order/invoice reference.

Will I need a returns number?

Yes, you may not send goods back to us without one. Please contact us at returns@b2b.ie and we will provide you with a returns number. To enable us to positively identify your return please include the returns number and other relevant documentation (copy invoice, delivery docket etc) with the return package.

Who is responsible for arranging the return?

You are responsible for organising the return. Most importantly, the goods must be returned in the original packaging, un-opened and in a re-saleable condition. If the returned goods show any sign of damage or loss due to you checking them then we shall be entitled to deduct the cost from the refund money. Please be careful when packing the goods for return and we strongly advise that packing tape not be used directly on the goods outer packaging.

When can I expect to receive a refund?

Within 14 days from receipt of the returns.

Sale Items (If Applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

All our goods are sold to you with the benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty.

None of the above will affect your rights if the goods are faulty.

Manufacturing Faults & Warranty

We offer a 1-year warranty on all electrical products and equipment.
In the event of a manufacturing fault, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product. Please contact us prior to returning any items due to manufacturing faults.

Clippers & Trimmers

Warranties for clippers and trimmers include the motors and batteries. However, blades, blade carriers, and springs are subject to wear and tear and are considered consumable parts. These will need to be replaced periodically over the life of the product, depending on usage.

New Clippers & Trimmers General Information

Some manufacturers hand test their products on synthetic hair during quality control. Don’t be alarmed by leftover transparent fibers.
Your product might have been oiled from the factory depending on the brand, but we recommend using clipper oil before use and regularly between haircuts to prolong the life of your product.
We highly recommend clearing loose hair from underneath your blades regularly. This is often overlooked, but buildup can shorten the life of your motor and battery due to the extra resistance.
